Jazz

Similiar to Ballet technique, Jazz Dance relies on balance, posture, and flexibility in order to better execute movement. A variety of music can be used for Jazz choreography that consists of Pirouettes, leaps, and strong arm movements. With a well-planned out lesson plan for each level of dance, students will certainly be on the right path in becoming advanced dancers.

Technique / Ballet

A truly very beginning class designed for novice dancers, or students who have not danced for many years. All shapes and adult sizes will appreciate the artistic aspect, as well as, the great exercise in this class. We will emphasize proper posture, muscle development, flexibility and grace of movement. Ballet steps are introduced very slowly so that self-esteem and ballet technique develop in an entertaining atmosphere with beautiful live music.

Contemporary

Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements. It stresses versatility and improvisation, unlike the strict, structured nature of ballet. Contemporary dancers focus on floorwork, using gravity to pull them down to the floor. This dance genre is often done in bare feet and can be performed to many different styles of music.

Baby Roquettes & Tiny Tots

An introduction to movement fundamentals. The Tiny Tots class combo introduces toddlers to music and movement with visual exploration. The acrobtic session allows for muscle building, flexibility and body coordination. These building blocks will develop a strong foundation of different skills.

(AGES 3-4) Combo Class: Acrobatics & Tiny Tots Dance

Baby Rockettes is the next phase of proper dance etiquette, rhythm, balance and the discovery of one’s body to make different shapes. They will also understand the essence of 8 counts to learn dance patterns. The Foundation Program offers the basics required for higher and more challenging levels of dance.

(AGES 5-7) Combo Class: Pre Ballet & Baby Rockettes

Team Blocks

These classes range from 45 minutes to 55 minutes depending on the skill level. Our experienced Acro instructor will guide the class towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline and concentration. This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique.
